When a person is saved all of heaven takes notice and the devil and His demons take notice (They are the opposition force.). When we set our hearts to pray heaven and hell takes notice. When a person is set free from drugs heaven and hell also takes notice. PLEASE be aware of the fact that Satan will use every tool in his arsenal to destroy a person’s life (He most often uses other people to accomplish his evil works). Anyone who is not yet ‘born again (saved) whether they realize it or not) is a tool (even his mouthpieces) of Satan. They will tell you things like, “Don’t listen to those people (Christians)” or “The Bible was written by man” or, “There is no such thing as hell.”
Please remember that when you make a serious decision to follow Christ the devil will do his best to stop you. He does not want you to succeed.
REMEMBER that Satan’s MO is to use others by their evil words and deeds to make you fail. People on drugs, crooks, gang bangers, people who don’t care about getting a better education or making improvements in their lives will try to stop you from succeeding too. For those who follow the devil’s ways John 8:44 says, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 10:10a says that Satan, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
EXAMPLE BELOW: HOW WHEN YOU SET YOUR HEART TO PRAY THAT HE WILL TRY TO USE SOMEONE OR SOMETHING TO INTERRUPT YOUR PROGRESS:
Acts Chapter 16:16-18
“As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.” 18 And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour.”
FOR THE MATURE IN THE LORD WE UNDERSTAND THAT GOD (IN CHRIST) HAS GIVEN US POWER OVER SATAN AND HIS DEMONS. We find this in Luke 10:19 where Jesus is interacting with His disciples. “The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name. He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
Beloved also watch out for false doctrines. The Bible in 1 Timothy 4:1 clearly states, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”
Mark 13:22 “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
REGARDING CHRIST’S RETURN IN 2 Thessalonians 3:2, THE BIBLE SAYS,
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
