FORGIVEN:
If you have placed your full trust in Christ (accepted him in your heart) you have been forgiven.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
One of the things probably most realized when you learn to be led by the Holy Spirit is your ever increasing prayer life. Listen, don’t worry if don’t know what to say, just come/enter as you are. Tell him how you are feeling, how a certain person may have hurt you, your feeling abandoned as a child, how you thank him for sparing your life, giving you a new job, etc. You don’t have to use fancy words when you talk to God. He will meet you right where you are at. As we learn more of his ways by reading the Bible our prayer lives will expand as we pray according to his will. I/He wants you to increase, or for some start your prayer lives today.
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:1-6).
So, brother and sisters, “Pray without ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
God bless you!
