WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

Romans 3:23 (NIV)
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23 (NIV)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 5:8 (NIV)
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 10:9 (NIV)
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
The previous scriptures are what we refer to as ‘The Romans Road’. In order to receive salvation we must all travel this route. In other words we must acknowledge that we are sinners in need of a Savior.
So we are to pray what is called the, ‘sinners prayer’or what can be called the ‘prayer of salvation.’
If you want be saved or born again, to have a personal relationship with God, say the following prayer which is based on the scriptures we read.
Pray out loud, Lord Jesus, I confess that I’m a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and that you rose again. Please forgive me for all of my sins. I choose to turn away from sin and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart and Live. You are now master of my life. Lord, in your name, I pray it. Thank you so much. Amen.
